Leaders In Training (LIT)

Program (year round)

Ages 16-17

Starts with a 4-6 eek session offered in the summer

The LIT program offers an opportunity for a select group of young leaders to enter our first ever year round program. The program starts at camp with a 4-week program with a group of 16-17 year old teens seeking hands-on leadership skills development and potential future employment with Agassiz.

Once the LIT’s have completed their 4-week program at the summer camp, they will then be involved in workshops and meetings once a month. These workshops will range from career and college readiness, financial literacy, conversations with established working professionals as well as leadership and SEL focused work.

Hold your Camper's Spot Fee

Agassiz Village is tuition free for all families that qualify. Parents are only required to pay a small fee based on income to hold your child’s spot for the 12 days session. Every year we have a waiting list for our two-week summer camp program and want to ensure as many kids as possible show up for camp, so we require a small fee to hold your child’s spot. With that in mind, please remember to let us know if your child’s plans change and for some reason they can’t make it to camp.

In case you are wondering, it costs $1,750 to provide your child an amazing 12-day summer camp experience. Because Agassiz Village is a nonprofit organization and spends all year raising funds to send children to camp, we can offer this amazing experience to your kids for a drastically low fee.

If your annual income is at or below 150% of poverty, the hold your spot fee per child is $135.

If your annual income is between 151 -250% of poverty, the hold your spot fee per child is $250.

If your annual income is between 251 - 400% of poverty, the hold your spot fee per child is $500.

If your income is above 400%, you will be required to pay in full at $1750.

Fees must be paid by May 15, 2024 to hold your child’s spot. All fees are nonrefundable after June 1, 2024.
