Cost, Rules & Guidelines of the Rental of AV Dining Hall
AV Dining Hall & Lawn
Our dining hall is one of the largest freestanding log cabin structures in the US. The building is rich in history and makes for a great rustic setting for any event. The building has two bathrooms, an industrial size kitchen, a wrap around porch and a large lawn. The rental of the building comes with our tables and benches, which can seat up to 250. The building alone can hold up to 500 people. You are allowed to bring in your own tables and chairs however you are responsible for setting up and cleaning up your event. You may bring in decorations however you are not allowed nail anything to the walls. There’s no heat in the dining hall expect for a large fireplace.
Catering
We have a caterer, Andy Crane, on our staff that can provide the food for your event. If you are interested in his seeing his menus and prices, please contact us

sample menu here. If you will not be using our caterer but would still like to use our kitchen facilities, please let us know so that we may provide a staff person for the day of the event. This is to help you in use of our facility.
Security
We ask that you have an off-duty Poland, Maine police officer work your event. You are responsible for this cost.
Use of Additional Facilities
We do not rent out our cabins or any other part of our grounds.
Parking
We have a parking lot that can be used for the event.
Cost
We suggested a donation of $1,500 for use of our facility. We require 50% of the money 60 days in advance and need the remaining amount 2 weeks before the event.
