2008 Day Camp Programs in Massachusetts
July 7 – August 15

Our day camps offer a variety of activities including sports, swimming, waterfront sports, canoeing, fishing, nature walks, and arts & crafts. Participants can choose one of the following programs, based on interest and location. Many activities divide age groups into 8-10 year olds and 11-13 year olds.There are TWO Massachusetts programs to choose from: One is held at Malden Catholic High School facility, and is a sports-based day camp, that offers an introduction to many different sports, as well as encourages health, safety, fun, and learning in both outdoor and indoor sports activities and more. All activities and programs take place on the grounds and buildings of Malden Catholic High School.

The other Mass. program is held at the Department of Conservation and Recreation's Saugus facility, called Camp Nihan. This beautiful 100 acre property has hiking trails, fields, and play areas, as well as a lake perfect for swimming, fishing, canoeing, and paddle boating. This program is an outdoor recreation-based day camp.

Campers who register for their specific site stay there for the day.

The Maine day camp takes place at the Agassiz Village campus in Poland, Maine. Participants follow the schedule with our overnight campers, with breakfast and lunch served, morning activities such as aquatics, boating, sports, games, outdoor education, ropes course, and more. Please call the office to register for our Maine Day Camp.

All programs are delivered in such a way that the activities are fun but teach leadership, cooperation, sportsmanship, teamwork, and community building. Campers learn more about themselves and their own strengths, building their confidence and self-esteem. They also begin to appreciate the strength of others and the power of working together.

Camp Details:
• There is a $25 discount per session for Day Camp programs if you pay in full by June 6 for each week you are registered.
• Day Camps have full day (8am – 4pm) and half-day (8am–12pm / 12pm-4pm) options.
• The Mass. Day Camp programs take place at TWO SITES: Malden Catholic High School & Camp Nihan (Saugus, MA).
• The Maine Day Camp program takes place at our Poland, ME camp facilities.
• You can register for Mass day camps with a $50 deposit below.
• Lunch is served at all full day Day Camp programs and is included with tuition. Campers receive an Agassiz Village t-shirt.

Full Day $150 per week 8am-4pm, includes lunch
Half Day $100 per week 8am-12noon or 12pm-4pm (no lunch)

Day Camp at Camp Nihan in Saugus, MA, a beautiful DCR property
Outdoor adventure and recreation based activities for boys & girls, ages 8-13
Full Day $150 per week 8am-4pm, includes lunch
Half Day $100 per week 8am-12noon or 12pm-4pm (no lunch)

Maine Day Camp at our Poland, Maine campus
