Cost, Rules & Guidelines of the Rental of AV Dining Hall
AV Dining Hall & Lawn
Our dining hall is one of the largest freestanding log cabin structures in the US. The building is rich in history and makes for a great rustic setting for any event. The building has two bathrooms, an industrial size kitchen, a wrap around porch and a large lawn. The rental of the building comes with our tables and benches, which can seat up to 250. The building alone can hold up to 500 people. You are allowed to bring in your own tables and chairs however you are responsible for setting up and cleaning up your event. You may bring in decorations however you are not allowed nail anything to the walls. There’s no heat in the dining hall expect for a large fireplace.
Catering
We do not have a caterer on our staff that can provide the food for
your event. Please let us know if you will be hiring a caterer
for your event, so that we may provide a staff person to greet the
catering company, etc. for the day of the event. You or your caterer
will need to provide a certificate of insurance, including liability
for serving alcohol if you will be offering at your event.
 Security
Your group is responsible for any and all security, safety, and
maintenance of the Agassiz Village property and your personal
property, as well as take full liability for all parties. A
certificate of insurance naming Agassiz Village is needed before
agreement is accepted.
Use of Additional Facilities
We do not rent out our cabins or any other part of our grounds.
Parking
We have a parking lot that can be used for the event.
Donation
We suggest a donation of $1,500 for use of our facility. We require
50% deposit 60 days in advance in order to hold your date, with the remaining amount
due 2 weeks before the event.
