To Our Agassiz Village Family,

Summer camp is all about new experiences and fond memories—of being a part of something. I’m sure many of you have wonderful memories of those summers spent at summer camp—learning to swim in a lake, meeting some of your closest friends and discovering a home away from home.

Agassiz Village continues to embody the spirit of its mission “to prepare youth for life’s journey.” Each summer, we give youth that need our help the most a chance to create their own memories—to make a difference in their lives and the lives of others.

Summer camp is so important to the children we serve. It provides a safe haven away from negative influences such as drugs and violence; it provides a place to grow as a person and learn self respect and confidence; it provides an opportunity for these kids to become the person they are capable of being.
